Mantum ("Mantum," "we," "us") builds custom software for small and mid-sized businesses. This policy explains what we collect on mantum.ai and when you talk to us about a build. It is written for operators, not lawyers. If something here is unclear, email dustin@mantum.ai.

What this covers
- The public website mantum.ai (including contact forms, articles, and pages linked from the footer)
- Email and messages you send us about a project
- Systems we host for customers under a separate agreement (those systems may have their own notice; this page does not replace a customer contract)
It does not cover third-party sites we link to.
What we collect
You give us
- Name, email, company, and message when you use the contact form
- Anything you send by email or in a call
- Account details if you sign in to a Mantum-hosted system we built for you
We collect automatically
- Basic device and browser data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, rough location at city level)
- Cookies or similar tools if we turn on analytics or a cookie banner (see Cookies below)
- Referral information (which site sent you here)
We do not ask for payment card numbers on the public contact form.
How we use information
- To answer your message and figure out whether we can help
- To run and improve the website
- To send follow-ups you asked for (we do not buy email lists for spam)
- To host and support a system you hired us to build
- To meet legal duties if we must
We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing
We share information only when needed:
- Hosting, email, and analytics vendors who process data for us (under contract)
- Professional advisors (accountant, counsel) when required
- Authorities if the law requires it
- A buyer of the business, if that ever happens, under continued protection
We do not sell or rent contact-form leads.
Cookies and analytics
The site may use essential cookies so pages work. If we add analytics (for example page views), we will show a cookie banner and let you accept or keep essential only. See the cookie banner copy pack for the on-page wording.
You can also clear cookies in your browser.
How long we keep data
- Contact-form and sales emails: while we are talking with you, then a reasonable period for follow-up and records
- Customer system data: per your contract and our backups
- Server logs: short periods unless we need them for security
Security
We use normal industry practices (HTTPS, access limits, backups on hosted systems). No method is perfect. If you think something is wrong, email dustin@mantum.ai.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may ask us to:
- Access the personal information we have about you
- Correct it
- Delete it (unless we must keep it)
- Opt out of marketing email (reply stop; we rarely send marketing blasts)

Children
The site is for business operators. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this page. The "Last updated" date will change. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new version for website use.
